Great water heater but has flaws.

The River Ranch Fifth Wheel models are made to provide more than ample storage space for your family. The massive underbelly is accessible from many different doors. The location of the doors gives you the ability to have access to all your belongings. The only thing that might make it easier would be to add MORryde draw slides.

This fifth wheel is a heavy unit before you add all of your stuff. The GVWR is 17,999 pounds, and the cargo capacity is around 3,150 pounds. A dually one-ton truck would be best to tow the River Ranch Fifth Wheel. The layout puts most of the weight about two feet higher than a standard fifth wheel. I suspect the broader base of the dually truck would help keep the unit upright in curves and on sloped ground.

The B&W Patriot 16K fifth Wheel hitch has proven to be perfect and reliable. The video will show the hitch's installation, connection, and articulation on a stone road.

The hitch is installed on my 2019 GMC Sierra with a standard bed of 6 1/2 feet. The first thing most people are worried about after hearing about my truck is how far can you turn without hitting the cab. I can almost make it to 90 degrees, but it will hit. I haven't found the turn radius to be a problem. Sure, it is something that you always have to watch, but it just makes me move slower. Let's face it, moving slower is always better.

The Patriot hitch breaks down into two parts the base and the coupler. The coupler has two handholds machined out on the side plates. These handholds make it very easy to carry and maneuver the base. The base weighs about 90lbs. The coupler is small and very easy to move. There are no pins to secure the coupler to the base. The only thing that needs to be done before mating the two parts is to ensure sufficient white lithium grease on the pivot points.
